Peace, Love, Bread

When we first opened our stand at the iconic 150 year old Findlay Market, we decided that we needed create a tag line that embodied the culture and remarkable Em’s team we were so fortunate to assemble. We had our logo, but we needed a tagline for the Em’s Brand. We tossed around a LOT of phrases. Some funny, some not so funny, some too long, some too suggestive (about the buns – it’s always about the buns!), and none of them seemed right. It wasn’t us. So we started listening to our customers. They would ask us why the bread tasted so good and so different, and we would always say because it was made with love. I love baking. It is my passion. Baking gives me peace – it calms me. I am very happy in my bakery baking my bread. We finally had it: “Peace, Love, Bread.” The team at Em’s hopes that when you come to visit us that you will walk away understanding Peace, Love, Bread.
